Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 66!

Troop 66 is the oldest Boy Scout Troop in Davis.  Since 1922 it has had a long history of excellence and service.  We have a rich tradition of Scout advancement and have promoted over 100 Eagle Scouts.

Our charter organization is the Davis Rotary Club.  We are part of the Golden Empire Council, Yolo District.  The Troop is boy led and believes that the Boy Scout program is best learned in the great outdoors.  Our Troop takes pride in developing and promoting leadership, community service, teamwork and personal fitness.

We meet most Monday nights and have one or more outdoor events each month.

Boy Scouts is for any boy who is 11 years old or who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award in Cub Scouts and is at least 10 years old, until they turn 18.

If you are thinking of joining, or just want more info, please use the Contact our Troop button above.

Mission Statement

The mission of Troop 66 is to support the youth in Davis by offering the Scouting program focused on citizenship training, character development and physical fitness.  Troop 66 ascribes to the Scout Oath and Law.  Troop 66 welcomes and respects all individuals without distinction.

Troop Meetings

We meet most Monday nights from 7:00 to 8:30 at the University Covenant Church at 315 Mace Blvd. near the I-80 Mace Blvd exit.

Every meeting is different and fun, but in general there is always: preparation for outings and events (camping, day trips, etc.), learning the skills that Scouts need to advance in rank and active game playing. Troop 66 is boy-lead with monthly Scout-run planning meetings.
