The Tiger Cub Program

 Welcome to the Tiger Den!

Den Number 9

First Grade
or 6-7 years old

Den Leader

Akeyla (Ah-kay-lah) Maue (rhymes with Thou and Now)

Our Mission
To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling values reflected in the Scout Oath, Scout Law, with fun, character-building events for our den and families.

The boys participate with their adult partners (any family or extended family member over 18 years of age - does not always have to be a parent). The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, and family understanding.

What the Tigers are Doing...
"Welcome, Tigers and soon-to-be Tigers!  We are going to have a roaring great year!  We will normally meet every first and third Wednesday night from 6:45-8:00 PM in a St. Francis classroom, as well as once a month in the large pack.  Additionally, we will adventure together for camping, the pinewood derby, and more!

Once you have registered as a new Tiger Cub, look for an invitation to join the Scoutlander communication system (an internet website with information and communication links).  Use the the Broadcast System (left side of webpage link) to contact me with questions or if you have ideas (for example, "my dad works at a cool job and we can visit") that can become part of our Den's plan for the year.
I look forward to our Journey together! ~ Akeylah Maue
